Personal Growth Group for People Going Through or Having Gone Through Mourning
If you have gone through the loss of a military loved one, note that the Bagotville MFRC and HOPE program want to set up a personal growth group for military families who have gone through or going through mourning.
This group is set up because we believe that military families who have gone through or are going through mourning already have the resources and experience needed to help each other cope with the loss of a loved one.
It is a place conducive to exchanges, mutual assistance, and support. Respectful sharing of similar experiences is often key to developing new strategies of adaptation to mourning.
The free meetings will be facilitated by a caregiver and qualified social worker.
They will start on September 9, 2019.
Nine sessions are planned (schedule to be determined).
