How to Help Our Youths in Mourning and Prepare Them for a Loved One’s Death Workshops for Families

These are workshops for families who want to learn to talk about bereavement and death with their children. These workshops aim to destigmatize death and render participants able to talk about this subject without taboos.

Three workshops will take place. During these meetings, children and parents will be separated so appropriate language can be used. Discussion at home may be beneficial because of the fact that the same subject will be broached.

Please dial 418 677-4000, extension 4721, or 418 677-7468 to register. Registration will be held in a continuous manner. Workshops will begin when enough participants have registered.

* Please note that these meetings will be offered only in French.

Offered by Marc-André Fillion, Family Liaison Coordinator, and Vanessa Desaulniers, Youth Worker
