This year marks the 8th year of the National Summer Camps Program for children and families of the Canadian Armed Forces Community. This extremely popular program provides grants for children in eligible military families to attend a weeklong, accredited summer camp of their choice.

💗 STRONGEST FAMILIES INSTITUTE

 

During National Month of the Military Child, we honour the sacrifices of the children of the military community and offer our support with programs that are customized for their care.

One in six military members report having experienced anxiety as a result of a deployment. The military members are not the only ones affected; so are their families.  The Strong Families Institute provides free and confidential services to children and parents with any mental health problem, such as Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Disorder or Anxiety Disorder.

Crisis Texting Service for Kids of CAF Families

Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) has partnered with Kids Help Phone and True Patriot Love Foundation to launch a crisis texting service for kids from military families living in Canada.
