SUB GYM – Basic Military Qualification Courses only

BUELL FITNESS & AQUATIC CENTRE:
Effective Monday 31 August, the Buell Fitness & Aquatic Centre will extend the morning individual workout times to include sessions at 06:00-07:30 and 07:30-09:00.  This will affect ONLY the following areas:
  • Weight Room
  • Cardio Room
  • Workout Areas (squash courts)
Units will be able to book the Weight Room during these times for a 1 hr 15 min Pt session, for a maximum of 2 sessions per week.
  •  Unit PT Mon to Fri: 0600 – 0900 hrs and 1400 – 1630 hrs
  • Individual PT Mon to Fri: 0600 – 1400 hrs and 1630 – 2030 hrs
  • Individual PT Sat and Sun 0900 – 1600 hrs
You must wear a non-medical mask while moving through the facility.  You may remove the mask once you are in your workout area.
Individual workout reservations are for one hour and 15 minutes.  All gym facilities are closed for 15 minutes after reservations for enhanced cleaning.

 Individual swim can be booked Mon-Fri from 06:00 – 13:00 hrs for 1 hour of swimming.
 
Space Description
Swimming Pool – max occupancy 8 8 lanes available – 1 person per lane
Weight Room – max occupancy 5 Physical distancing will be the participants responsibility
Workout Area 1-5 – max occupancy 1 person per court Five squash courts have been set up with a rowing machine, bike and kettlebells
Cardio Room -  max occupancy 4 Treadmills only
Fieldhouse Cardio Area – max occupancy 8 Various cardio equipment spread apart 8ft in most cases.  Member may choose upon arrival.  Access will increase as occupancy restrictions are changed
Fieldhouse Weight Machines – max occupancy 3 Limited number of machines, ensure cleaning and physical distancing can be maintained
Fieldhouse Rogue Area – max occupancy 2 2 locations only to ensure physical distancing
Fieldhouse Kettle Bell Area – max occupancy 1 Small area can only accommodate one person
Fieldhouse Individual Lifting Platforms 1-6 – max occupancy 1 person per platform Each platform is supplied with what is needed for an individual workout
Fieldhouse Treadmills – max occupancy 2 Only 2 machines available
Fieldhouse Rowers – max occupancy 2 Only 2 machines available
Fieldhouse Dumb Bell Area – max occupancy 2 Small area can only accommodate two people
Buell Gym East & West half Floor (hardwood) Wood Floor Gym is multi-purpose use;
Basketball courts will be available for one person to use each basket; or
Badminton with one partner avail; or
Table Tennis with one partner avail; or
Bean Bag Toss (corn hole) with one partner avail; or Pickle Ball with one partner.
