The Health Nudge Rules and Important Information
Contest Period and Important Dates
The Health Nudge, Borden’s Healthy Lifestyle Contest (the Contest) starts at 1200hrs on 21 Jan 2021 and ends at 2359hrs on 17 Mar 2020 (the Contest Period). There are 8 weeks of the contest and participants have until the second week (28 Jan 2021) to register to be eligible for prizes. Although registration will remain open until the second week of the contest, there will be no retroactive points added to the participants account for activities prior to their registration date. Important dates are outlined in the table below:
Weekly Submission Deadlines
The contest is open to:
- Active Canadian Armed Forces Members (Regular and Reserve)
- Canadian Armed Forces Veterans
- DND Staff
- Spouse or immediate family of a CAF member
The contest is not open to:
- CFMWS employees or their families, unless identified as a military spouse or immediate family member of a CAF member
How to Register to Win
There are two (2) ways to enter the Contest, as follows:
o Online via BookKing: To enter online via BookKing , visit https://bkk.cfmws.com/bordenpub/account/index.asp (the BookKing Website) and follow the on-screen instructions to create an account (if not done so already). Navigate to the “courses” tab and then the “Health Promotion” drop down menu. Select The Health Nudge and click Register Now. Within 5 business days of registration via BookKing, you will receive a link to a Google Form to provide additional information and complete your registration. To complete Online Entry to the contest the Google Form must be submitted. All submissions must be received by the end of the Registration Period.
o Online directly via Google Forms: To enter online directly via Google Forms, visit https://forms.gle/sSYyLVad3gWsLBR5A and provide all necessary information. Upon submission of the Google Form you will be considered entered in the contest. All submission must be received by the end of the Registration Period to be eligible.
LIMITS AND VERIFICATION: There is a limit of one (1) Main Entry per person/email address permitted, regardless of the method of entry. For greater certainty, you can only use one (1) email address to register for, or otherwise participate in, the Contest.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are having difficulty accessing either site to complete registration, email firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance. Queries for assistance must be received NLT 1200hrs on 27 Jan 2021 to allow sufficient time to respond and provide assistance.
All registrants will receive an email closer to the contest start date with detailed instructions on how to join sessions and submit your weekly points.
There are six (6) prizes available to be won in this contest. The Prize categories are outlined below:

Webinar Attendance (1): Fitbit Sense Smartwatch ($430.00)
Participation (3): Yeti Prize Pack ($224.00)
Each Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not assignable nor transferable. Limit of one (1) prize per person (eligibility requirements must be met).
Prize Winner Selection
Each week of the contest, participants will be able to complete certain health tasks to earn points. Points will be submitted weekly by participants and compiled by the organizers. Upon completion of the contest, organizers will review compiled points and identify the two (2) participants with the highest point value. These two participants will be the Grand Prize Winners. If there are multiple participants with the same high score, a random draw will be done of these participants to select the winners.
Those who attended all of the online sessions will be entered into the Webinar Attendance draw. Organizers will track the names of participants during online sessions and from those who attended all of the webinars one (1) name will be randomly drawn as the winner.
From the remaining names, a random draw will be done to select three (3) Participation Prize Winners.
Organizers will determine winners between 18 Mar and 22 Mar 2021. The winners will be announced on or before 25 Mar 2021.
Prize Winner Notification
The organizers will make two (2) attempts to contact each potential Prize winner via the information provided at the time of entry within three (3) business days of the winner announcement. If a potential prize winner has not been contacted during those 3 days, they will be ineligible for winning the designated prize and another registration will be randomly drawn.
The Organizers reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to withdraw, amend or suspend this Contest (or to amend these Rules) in any way, for any reason, including, without limitation, in the event of an error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Organizers that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these Rules. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Organizer reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest, or to amend these Rules, without prior notice or obligation, in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error of any kind, or for any other reason.
The Organizer reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, and without prior notice, to adjust any of the dates and/or time frames stipulated in these Rules, to the extent necessary, for purposes of verifying compliance by any entrant and/or Contest-Related Information with these Rules, or as a result of technical problems, or in light of any other circumstances which, in the opinion of the Organizer, in its sole and absolute discretion, affect the proper administration of the Contest as contemplated in these Rules.
