BFRC - Youth Centre

Youth Services provides a variety of activities aimed towards specific age groups and that are geared towards personal growth, leadership development, community involvement and promote opportunities for peer and social interaction.

Participation is based on a first come, first served basis with priority given to youth whose parents/legal guardians are CAF Members or DND Civilian/BFRC/CFHA/PSP Employees, and on a secondary basis to all other individuals.

The Borden Family Resource Centre's - Children and Youth Program is pleased to offer no fees for drop-in programming for CAF Members/Veterans and their immediate families, DND Civilian Employees and their immediate families and those who provide direct support to the CAF. Base/DND Identification required upon registration. 
For all other guests there is a $3.00 fee.

Youth Services offers Drop in Activities, Community Involvement, Volunteer Training & Opportunities, Personal Enrichment Courses and workshop, Outreach and Vision and Voices. The Youth Centre has a variety of activities including but not limited to the following: Pool Table, Foosball Table, Air Hockey Table, Dances, Outings, Canteen, Computers, Karaoke, Sports Equipment, Basketball Court, Video Games and much more!

The Youth Centre is located at 14 Typhoon Lane.


  • Kids Club for 6-10 years old on Saturday from 1 pm - 3 pm;
  • Tween Night for 10-14 years old on Wednesday from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm;
  • Teen for 15-18 years old First Thursday of evey month  from 6 pm - 8 pm.
