Parcel Service Thinkstock Share: Parcel Service Did you know that families can send care packages to CAF members deployed overseas or stationed at another base free of charge through the MFRC? Here's How: Choose a box that is no bigger than 15.5 inches long, 10.5 inches high, 11.5 inches wide, and no heavier than 44 pounds. Ensure that the parcel is wrapped properly in brown paper or in a box with no markings and securely closed using packing tape. Please do not use string. Parcels must be accomapined by an International Parcel Form from Canada Post containing the address, a return address, the content list and phone number visible. Leave out Items you wouldn't take on an airplane, such as weapons, aerosol cans, alcohol, drugs, and tobacco. Drop the care package off at the Calgary MFRC office and we will take care of the rest free of charge. Note that there is a limit of two parcels per month. Packages usually arrive at their destinations within four to six weeks.
