Physical activity is an important component of operational readiness within the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), as it contributes to a healthy and fit workplace. Unfortunately, with physical activity comes risk of injury, often attributed to an inability to safely execute various activities and/or exercises.

A partnership between the Health Promotion Department, Fitness and Sports Department, and Physiotherapy, this Workshop aims to provide you with the tools and knowledge to keep yourself safe during exercise and at work. This will be achieved by providing you with various injury prevention strategies for running, training and other sports, as well as education and practice on how to use safe lifting techniques in the gym, at work and during FORCE testing.

HRMS code is provided upon workshop completion.
