The Comox MFRC is a registered non-profit organization that works to provide relevant, high quality programs and services for military members and their families in the Comox Valley.

Current Employment Opportunities:

Social Workers - Family Laison Officer and Prevention Support Intervention
Early Childhood Educator

Our childcare centre accepts resumes on an ongoing basis for the following positions:

Casual Staff

Staff will be “on call” to fill in for staff on sick leave or vacation.

Support Staff

Staff will be working in one program area with guaranteed hours unless needed to fill in for absent staff in another program.

Minimum Requirements for Casual and Support Staff:
Successful completion of  Responsible Adult / Good Beginnings  course or a minimum of 20 hours of training in child development, guidance, health and safety, or nutrition and willingness to work towards   Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification for BC.

Program Staff

Assistant and Supervisor positions will be posted as needed. Casual and Support staff may apply.

Minimum requirements for Educators working as a Program Assistant or Supervisors:
ECE Certification or ECE Assistant Certification for BC.
Infant/Toddler Certification for Supervisors working in the Toddler Program.
In addition, the “Emergency First Aid for Community Service Workers or Childcare” is required for all positions with the Comox MFRC Childcare Centre.
