INTRODUCTION TO SAILING courses in May
May 9th, 19th, 23rd and 26th are the final four "Introduction to Sailing" theory courses being run before summer starts. Come learn the basics of sailing on our C420 sailboats. Course starts at 0900hrs and is approximately 120 minutes of theory at the 19 Wing Comox Yacht Clubhouse (Goose Spit) and then a practical training and checkout you schedule at a later date. Available to all new and old 19WCYC Club members for only $20, which a new CANSail Vol 1 & 2 workbook and practical training is included (cash or cheque payable to "Base Fund"). Invitational evening & Open house
The annual Club Invitational evening has been set for Friday May 24, 2019 with the Open House happening the day after on Saturday May 25th.
The annual Invitational is a chance for members of our club to get together with invited members of our neighbouring marine and sailing associations.
The Open House, open to members of the 19 Wing community, is the perfect opportunity to see if what the club has to offer appeals to you and your family. Here’s a link to the promotional poster.

As of Wednesday March 27, 2019, fresh water is available dockside. With this in mind, members are highly encouraged to do a thorough spring cleaning on their boats and tenders. Kayak Division Coordinator found
A sincere thanks goes out to Chris Miron who is the Kayak Division's Coordinator.
