This program is designed as a guided self-help program for any adult within the military community looking to strengthen their mental health. The facilitated program will guide participants through information and practice in a low stress and safe environment.
Using evidence-based techniques, you will learn a variety of tools to manage daily stress and common mental health issues. Topics and tools include ways to think realistically about problems and goals to better cope and obtain a healthy way of thinking and living. This group can be helpful for anyone caring for family members dealing with mental health-related concerns such as PTSD, Operational Stress Injuries, depression, and anxiety.
This course was extremely helpful to me. Not only did I learn new ways to manage my depression and anxiety, I enjoyed learning about cognitive behaviour therapy. The instructors were very personable and comfortable to talk to.
