Mindfulness Coaching

This program is designed as a guided self-help program for any adult within the military community looking to strengthen their mental health. The facilitated groups will guide participants through information and practice in a low stress and safe environment.

Most importantly you will walk away with a variety of tools to manage stress related to common mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Topics include realistic thinking about problems and goals, evidence based techniques for dealing with feelings of anxiety, sadness and anger, assertive communication, and tips for healthy thinking and living.

Four week course:
Dates: Thursdays, September 23 to October 14
Time: 6 – 8 pm
Location: MFRC

Open to: CAF and Defence Community Families.
