MFRC Change to Services

Due to the Provincial Government’s announcement regarding further COVID-19 restrictions, beginning on Monday, November 30 the MFRC will be reducing access and limiting our in-person services.

The following walk-in services continue to be available:
  • DAG Form sign-offs
  • Select welcome services including clear-ins/outs
  • Information and Referral (Bilingual)
The following appointment only services are also available:
Appointment only services are available for one individual/family at a time. To maintain safety for both yourself and our staff, mask-wearing is required along with the completion of a health screen questionnaire before entering the building for these services.
  • Individual and family short-term counselling sessions
  • Crisis support and referral
  • Emergency Child Care Assistance
  • Education and Employment Support
  • Support to families with Special Needs
  • Deployment Support, including one-on-one Road To Mental Readiness sessions for families

COVID-19 Protocols
  • Face coverings are required in the MFRC/Bldg 161.
  • To ensure adequate physical distancing at the front desk and in the main reception area only one (1) individual/family will be permitted to wait at the front desk at a time as the MFRC waiting area is closed.
  • Physical distancing signage will be located in the front desk area, between the two front doors as well as distancing markers outside the building if a line up is required.
  • Upon entering the building, you will be asked to use the hand sanitizer provided our entrance.
In accordance with Provincial Heath Regulations, please do not enter the facility if you:
  • Have a fever, cough, sore throat, running nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches or shortness of breath.
  • Have been in close contact, in the last 14 days, with someone who is being investigated or confirmed to be a case of COVID-19.
  • Have travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days or been in close contact with someone that has travelled outside of Canada in the last 14 days.
