Creating an Addiction Free Workplace Supervisor Training

Creating stable and addictions-free environments is a priority of the Canadian Armed Forces. Health Promotion courses can help make a positive impact on individuals, families and communities.

Creating an addiction Free Workplace Supervisors Training (MITE: 117733)
MITE code for MS and above
Location: NAC
  • Tues Dec 5    8:30am-4pm  and  Wed Dec 6    8:30am-noon
    (course includes both sessions)

    This 1.5 day program is designed for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and for personnel in leadership positions, this course is also open to civilians. It is a required course for all military personnel MS and above. (Open to all personnel if spaces are available)
Designed to assist leaders in promoting an addiction free culture in their workplace

Participants learn about: 
  • Substance misuse
  • Warning signs
  • Effective interviewing skills
  • Active listening skills
  • Enabling
  • How to challenge unhealthy workplace cultures.
  • Relevant policies
Participants must attend all sessions to receive MITE code. A pre-reading package is required - electronic copies will be sent out prior to the course. Register through your Unit Training Coordinator today.
