Alert-First Aid Babysitting Course (11-15 yrs)
This is a fun and interactive 8 hour course in which students learn valuable childminding skills. Topic covered are: feeding a baby or change a diaper, preparing a simple meal, play games with children of all ages, prevent injuries and keep children safe, how to handle an emergency if one happens. Includes an Alert First-aid manual and Alert wallet card.

Standard First-Aid w/ CPR "C" and AED (12+ yrs)
This fun and interactive 2 day course trains you how to react and improvise during time priority, life threatening emergencies. This course covers initial assessment, disease prevention, secondary survey, airway obstruction, adult and child CPR, and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. This course also includes recognition and first-aid treatment for head and spine injuries, shock, diabetes, bleeds, seizures, broken bones, small wound management, poisoning, heart attacks and strokes. Participants spend the majority of the course doing hands on first-aid training. By practicing with scenarios students gain confidence and learn to react and improvise in emergency situations. Includes Red Cross manual and certificate valid for 3 years.

Standard First-Aid w/ CPR "C" and AED Recertification (12+ yrs)
This fun and interactive 8-hour course will train you how to react and improvise during time priority, life threatening emergencies. This course covers initial assessment, disease prevention, choking (including special circumstances and children in wheelchairs), adult and child CPR, and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator. This course also covers recognition and first-aid treatment for head and spine injuries, shock, allergic reactions, seizures, bleeds, broken bones, poisoning, heart attacks and strokes. Participants spend the majority of the course doing hands-on first aid training. By practicing with custom scenarios, students gain confidence and learn to react and improvise in emergency situations. There is no written exam for this course.
*Must have valid certificate Standard First Aid Certificate day of course
