Mental Fitness and Suicide Awareness is designed to promote awareness and skill- building, to maximize mental fitness both individually and in the workplace, and to lessen the incidence of mental health injuries including suicide. (1 day)
Inter-Comm: Improve communication within personal relationships by learning the attitudes and skills required to deal with conflict effectively. Through exercises and coaching, participants learn to: understand conflict and increase active listening skills, use a collaborative model for resolving conflict built on Interest-based Communication skills, and use collaboration and communication to support health and well-being in relationships. (1 day)
Stress: Take Charge! : Helps participants develop an understanding of the stress reaction based on their individual life stressors. Participants will learn tools and select coping mechanisms they can use in everyday life to make positive changes and manage their stress levels. (1 day)
Weight Wellness Lifestyle Program helps participants develop a healthy lifestyle in relation to the food they eat and safely manage their weight for life. Participants will learn about food labels, nutritional value of foods, snacking, physical activity, common weight loss myths and more. (1 day)
Top Fuel for Top Performance: This nutrition for action program provides up to date and accurate nutritional information for individuals who are physically active, training for specific athletic events, preparing to deploy, or looking to fine tune their current diet for an active lifestyle. (2-days)
Managing Angry Moments (MAM) helps participants understand and deal with their triggers before anger escalates. Participants learn new tools to defuse situations and develop coping strategies that will ultimately increase personal wellbeing and improve relationships with others. (3 classes for 1 week)
Injury Reduction Strategies for Sports & Physical Activity: An educational briefing on common injuries in the CAF and the latest scientific evidence for preventing injuries in fitness training and sports. (1 half-day )
Alcohol, Other Drugs, Gambling and Gaming Awareness - Supervisor Training: Recognize the signs and symptoms of addiction to alcohol and use of other drugs, gaming, and gambling. Apply DND policies and understand the role of the supervisor in an addiction-free workplace. (2 days)
BUTT OUT: This program gives specific guidance to help change behaviors associated with tobacco use and provides essential support for individuals who want to quit using tobacco.  (Every Friday 9 to 9:30 a.m.)
Respect in the CAF: This workshop is designed to foster a sustained change in attitudes and behaviours in order to promote a respectful climate and culture within the CAF. It aims to empower participants to take a stand against sexual misconduct and to support victims. (1 day)
