Hype Program

Hype program (Helping Youth Personally Excel)

In partnership with the MFRC, PSP offers a unique Youth Leadership Program that provides customizable learning workshops for young people that empower participants to discover their potential, explore social issues, build transferable skills and create positive social change.

Youth leadership programs are about building character, good citizenship and developing the social, emotional and vocational abilities of youth who also serve as ambassadors and role models for the other children and youth throughout the organization and positively influence decision-making on issues related to youth.
HYPE participants may exercise the following workshops and opportunities throughout the duration of the program: employment workshops (resume, business cards, etc.), study skills workshops, volunteer opportunities (Food Bank), field trips (paint ball, camping, etc.), guest speakers, crafting and gift making (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc.), various training opportunities (High Five, Super Hero Training, babysitting, etc.), Exchange trips community service, teamwork, fundraisers, etc.
