Together We Stand Foundation Family Gift Box

Will your member be deployed over the Christmas holidays this year? If your member will be deployed overseas between December 1, 2019 and January 30, 2020 the Together We Stand Foundation will be generously providing military families with a thoughtful gift of thanks.

The Together We Stand Foundation is a registered Canadian charity that was created to honour the sacrifices deployed military personnel and their families make each day. This year the foundation will be giving each family experiencing an overseas deployment one Family Gift Box that will include gift cards and coupons from companies such as Adidas, Brass & Unity, Fabricland, Reebok, Yogen Frรผz, prepaid Visas, and so much more! The estimated value of each Family Gift Box is $300! The Together We Stand Foundation will send the gift box directly to the address designated by the member before the holidays.

Who is eligible?

Members who will be deployed between December 1, 2019 and January 30, 2020 in operational theatre outside of North America and who will be separated from their family during the holiday season will be eligible. Those on training will not be eligible.

To receive your gift box, a gift form must be completed. The gift form can be found at: and must be completed in its entirety, including a copy of the member’s Canadian Forces Task Plans and Operations (CFTPO) Task Authority.  Members receive the CFTPO upon deployment notice. Members and immediate family members are able to apply, provided all information is completed on the form.

๐Ÿ“† The deadline to apply for the gift box is November 8, 2019.
If you have any questions about the process or eligibility please do not hesitate to contact your GMFRC Coordinator of Deployment Services, Lori Lundy, at 902-765-5611 or, or you may contact the Together We Stand Foundation directly at

Deployment Survival Kit

Sometimes deployments can have challenging moments, so we have created a special Deployment Survival Kit to help the spouses/partners/parents through those moments!
Thanks to a grant we received from True Patriot Love Foundation, along with local sponsors we have created a kit filled with items to remind you to slow down, take a breath, have a laugh and take care of you, even if just for a brief moment.

However, part of celebrating and supporting the unique lifestyle of our military families means acknowledging the associated challenges. We are currently working on a very special project to offer unique support to our families who experience a deployment.

๐Ÿ“Œ We would be happy to discuss or answer any of your questions regarding the project or the support services we offer! Contact your Coordinator of Deployment Services Lori Lundy at or 902-765-1494 local 5583.
