Prince’s Operation Entrepreneur
Offers free 5 day boot camps (open to military/veterans only) and 1 day workshops (open to military, veteran, AND spouses) for new or hopeful entrepreneurs.  

Acadia Entrepreneurship Centre
The Acadia Entrepreneurship Centre at Acadia University creates an entrepreneurial culture, locally and globally, by being a leader in the development and delivery of entrepreneurial resources, programs, and services. 

Valley REN
The Valley Regional Enterprise Network’s mission is to lead and enable regional economic growth and prosperity. Services most often sought through the Valley REN are: start-up planning, business development, access to funding, creating local connections, and identifying supply chain partners, as well as succession planning.

Valley Women’s Business Network
The Valley Women’s Business Network supports, educates, and promotes women in the Annapolis Valley who are in business, professionals, or aspiring to start a business through the organization of networking meetings and events in the Annapolis Valley.

Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce
The Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce promotes and supports the local business community. Free online learning is also available to non-members.

Rural Innovation Centre
As part of the Acadia Entrepreneurship Centre, the Rural Innovation Centre (RIC) is an incubator for start-up companies. It offers access to working space and support, networking events, mentors, and connection with Acadia University faculty and facilities.

Valley Business Leaders Initiative
The Valley Business Leaders Initiative is a non-profit organization that strives to promote working, living, and investing in the Annapolis Valley.

Assist in the creation of small businesses and in the expansion and modernization of existing businesses by providing financial assistance, business counselling, training, and technical services to entrepreneurs.

Military Family Business Group
Operates in partnership with the Greenwood Military Family Resource Centre. Membership is open to military members, veterans, and RCMP and their spouses who are self-employed or operate a small business with less than 5 employees. The group meets monthly at the GMFRC  to network, learn, and plan bi-annual expos.
