Promoting Positive Behaviour in Teens
This workshop facilitated by the Nova Scotia Health Authority is designed for any parent who has difficulties managing their teen’s behaviour. This course is especially helpful for those who have teens diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). The sessions are facilitated by Mental Health and Addiction Services, Child and Youth Program. The program will assist parents in understanding the basis of teen defiance, rebuild positive communication, and teach behaviour management strategies to regain positive parenting authority in the home.
