The Entrepreneur Club provides an opportunity for military family members, CAF members and Veterans to expand their network of contacts, further develop business skills, benefit from a peer group experience and access useful information, advice and markets. An annual fee of $24, gives members:

  • Free business listings on our website;
  • Peer mentorship/coaching;
  • Professional Development workshops, seminars and keynote speakers;
  • Referral opportunities;
  • Networking opportunities;
  • Attendance at events; and
  • An understanding of military life, family commitments and business demands.

Monthly meetings on topical business issues that promote growth and encourage a friendly, social gathering of business people willing to share experiences and knowledge. Professional development sessions will focus on: taxes, website editing & SEO, business planning, effective business communication, marketing, accounting, and mobility of businesses.

ENTREPRENEUR CLUB (19+)

Looking to start your own business? Don’t know where to start? The Entrepreneur Club might be just what you need! The Entrepreneur Club provides an opportunity for CAF members, Veterans, and their families to expand their network of contacts, further develop business skills, benefit from a peer group experience and access useful information. Professional development workshops (provided by the business community), are tailored for the participants, whether you are just beginning or well on your way.

Remaining Professional Development sessions for the 2018 membership:
April:
“The Four Ps” | Tuesday, April 30, 2019 | 6:30 – 8:30pm
This workshop is about marketing strategies that are tailored to small businesses. Who knew that marketing had the letter “P” in it? Come and find out why this is called the “the four Ps” and how it relates to marketing your business.

May: “ Paying Yourself” | Tuesday, May 28, 2019 | 6:30 – 8:30pm
We all know we don’t start a business for fun, we need to get paid but we also need to grow and reinvest in our business. How do we determine when to pay ourselves and what is our value. This workshop will focus on the gritty details of making some money.

June: “It’s a Wrap” | Tuesday, June 25, 2019 | 6:30 – 8:30pm
Sadly, the program year must come to an end and why not do so with a session dedicated to wrapping all the workshops together into a neat little package. This session will be an opportunity to ask any lingering questions, seek support from your fellow club members and celebrate your business triumphs from what you have learned and applied throughout the year.
