Adult programs promote personal growth, skills development, and social and community connections. These programs are open to adults aged 18 and older.

 COFFEE CONNECTIONS (19+)

Looking for a fun, relaxing way to connect with others and share some common experiences? Look no further! Spend your morning with other military spouses for adult conversation and a good cup of coffee!
Dates: Fridays | 9:15 – 11:15am
Registration Deadline: 48 hours prior to program
Location: Halifax site & Shearwater site
Cost: $1 ** Program Care is $3/child or $6/family


 

BOOK CLUB (18+)

Whether you’re looking for like-minded book-lovers, or just an excuse to chat with military families over coffee, join the H&R MFRC reading group to mingle once a month with fellow bibliophiles. Limited copies of the book are available at the Shearwater site MFRC.

Is your family experiencing regular short term deployments or absences? Is the CAF member home, gone, home, gone- regularly. Are you finding this schedule to be challenging? Join us as we discuss some of the challenges associated with these types of deployments and tools and approaches to handle these frequent separations. * Child care is available at no cost for this program.
