Deployments are Challenging for Teens too.
Give Them the Tools They Need to Adapt and Thrive in Their New Reality

What is #FamilyStrong?
The #FamilyStrong program helps Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) families cope with deployment. Each module in the program helps families communicate their feelings regarding deployment, including; fear, anxiety, hopelessness and any other emotion that may be felt by family members during this stressful time. The program uses components of both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Emotional Regulation, to effectively teach communication, emotional management, behavioural awareness and many other important skills.

The program is 8 modules and includes:
Module 1: Family
Module 2: Identifying Stress and Emotion
Module 3: Coping with Stress
Module 4: Feelings About Family
Module 5: Introduction to Communication
Module 6: Communication with Family and Other Adults
