PSP performs many specialty tests that are required for application to CANSOFCOM units, as well as other programs such as Close Protection. Recruiting seasons can vary from year to year, so be sure to check the CANFORGENs and with your unit training officer for exact dates

LFCPFS (BFT) 13km Ruck March
Test conducted by military on an annual basis.  PSP is available to provide work up training assistance.

JTF2 Pre-Selection Physical Fitness Test
This test is offered on an as needed basis. This test is required to complete the application process for JTF 2 selection.

CAF Parachutist Physical Fitness Test
This test is offered on an as needed basis. The purpose of this test is to determine an individual's physical capability to train as a Basic Parachutist.

This test is offered on an as needed basis. A pre-selection evaluation is required to determine an individual's physical capability to apply to the CF School of Search And Rescue (CFSSAR) as a SAR Tech.
