Sentry services: Reserve candidates taking their BMQ can contact the chaplains to find out which military members are in the sentry program. Sentries are fellow soldiers acting as peer supporters who offer a receptive ear to other military members with a non-punitive goal of providing support.

Canadian Forces Member Assistance Program (CFMAP): The CFMAP is a voluntary, free and confidential service provided by the Canadian Armed Forces to help military members (Regular Force members, all classes of Reserve Force members and cadets) and their families who are dealing with issues that could affect their personal well-being and/or performance at work. Candidates taking their BMQ are also eligible for this service. You can contact the CFMAP, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, at 1-800-268-7708 or visit the CAF website for further information.
