Our Family Wellness Team at the MFRC-NCR provide resources, programs, and support to the families of members of the Canadian Armed Forces prior to, during, and after a family separation due to operational requirements
A separation is defined as the assignment of military personnel on unaccompanied duty away from their normal workplace, including temporary duty, extended course, unaccompanied posting (IR) or overseas missions.
The MFRC-NCR provides support to the families of Regular Forces and Reservists who are experiencing a separation both within the country and overseas. We are there through all stages of the separation to ensure families are well supported and connected. Please know that all of our Family Separation and Reunion services are available to spouses, parents, children, and siblings. We know that the need for comradery, and having an outlet to safely express worries, hopes, and fears, is just as important for all family members, and we hope to provide you with that outlet.
As part of the DAG process, CAF members are encouraged to complete a Family Information Form awith the MFRC-NCR when they are being tasked away.
