No Stone Left Alone
November 9, 2019
Military members and their circle of loved ones, along with all NCR Community Members, are invited to join the MFRC NCR at a No Stone Left Alone ceremony at the Notre-Dame Cemetery for a morning of honour, appreciation, and education. No Stone Left Alone’s mission is to honour the sacrifice and service of Canada’s military by educating students and placing poppies on the headstones of veterans every November.
Families will participate in an engaging, memorable Ceremony of Remembrance lead by notable community members and our community’s youth. Afterwards, all registered volunteers will receive guidance on poppy etiquette and will then work to place poppies on as many headstones as possible within the cemetery's Field of Honour. All poppies will be provided.
No Stone Left Alone fundraising efforts are to bring awareness to educate the next generation of Canadians’ on the importance of Remembrance.
