A family care plan is a form that prepares families of Canadian Armed Forces members to be taken care of in case of unforeseen events, emergency callouts and planned deployment. The family care plan is a regularly updated exchange of information between your family and a Commanding Officer. A completed Family Care Plan is designed to support individual and unit operational readiness.
The MFRC-NCR recommends reviewing your family care plan every year, as secondary caregivers may change as you form connections in your new community.
