Youth Odyssey

This program is for youth aged 12-18 that takes place each summer where we get away for a weekend to have fun, learn something new, and interact with other military youths.

Youth Ambassadors

Youth Ambassadors is an engagement program for youth ages 13-18, designed to promote educational opportunities and service learning within their community. This program is a fantastic way to obtain volunteer hours for high school, as well as gaining experience to put on a CV.  

The Youth Ambassadors meet once a month for a new volunteer or professional development opportunity.

French Tutoring Tuesdays

This program is to help children ages 6 years and older with their French skills.
The MFRC has partnered with Canadian Parents for French to offer homework and tutoring help.

  • Ottawa offers "Try-It" passes in City of Ottawa buildings to try an activity once before paying for memberships or entry fees (e.g. public swim)

Cadets are motivated to improve their physical fitness, to work harder at their academic studies and to give back to their communities through volunteerism and citizenship activities.

  • Girl Guides Canada! Her next adventure starts right here. Girl Guides is an all-access pass to unlimited adventures, countless confidence-building moments and ready-for-anything skills. Guiding is where girls shine as they take the lead and explore new challenges designed just for them - all with the support of girls and women who cheer them on every step of the way.
