Help from others like you

Grief can be a lonely experience, even when you are surrounded by loved ones. While professional counselling is an option, sharing your sorrow with others who understand what you are feeling can help. Peer support provides this opportunity by drawing on the experiences and strengths of trained volunteer and staff who have experienced similar losses.

Several peer support options are available, when you need them and for as long as you need them.
  • HOPE Program

Peer volunteers are matched to bereaved families and offer social support assistance.

  • MFRC Groups

With the aid of a professional facilitator, families of the fallen meet to support each other.
