CAF Sports
The Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS) is responsible for delivering morale and welfare programs to the members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF).  The CAF Sports Program plays a prominent role in promoting fitness and good health within the military community.  Sports inspire CAF members to improve their physical fitness and build their leadership and self-discipline skills.  Sports also promote teamwork, esprit de corps, loyalty, and commitment.

The CAF Sports Program is divided into 2 main sub-groups, the intramural and the extramural programs.  At the local level, every base, unit and wing conduct intramural (inter-section or inter-unit) or local sporting events for all levels of athletes. Extramural competition includes inter-base, CAF Regional, CAF National and International competition.
