Our approach is based on the Social Ecological Model of Health which states that in order to foster a true culture of health and wellness, it is important to act at all levels of the CAF:
With content support from our colleagues in the Directorate of Force Health Protection, we offer briefings, workshops and campaigns in the following program areas, to ensure that CAF personnel, their families and civilian personnel alike have the knowledge and abilities to make healthy lifestyle choices.

workshop under Operation HONOUR. Designed for CAF members, this interactive workshop is intended to help members develop and practice skills to recognize, respond to and prevent sexual misconduct, as well as support those affected by it. It is designed to foster a sustained change in attitudes and behaviours in order to build a respectful climate and culture within the CAF. Outside of the classroom, we work with the Military Community, leadership and several partners to create optimal social, policy and physical environments that support the information and skills contained in these programs. Whether we’re involved in infrastructure projects to promote active living, initiatives to label and identify healthy options in the food environment, or working with messes to reinforce low risk drinking guidelines, health promotion is everywhere, helping to make the healthy choice the easy choice!
