National Volunteer Week (NVW) is April 18-24, 2021. This week is set aside each year to recognize and thank volunteers around Canada and on our Bases and Wings for the time and energy; they contribute to causes that benefit our communities. NVW is also an opportunity to promote the benefits of volunteering to individuals and society.
CANEX is happy to announce that this year, the CANEX Gives Back Volunteer Recognition Program, formerly known as the Volunteer Recognition Grant, has been modernized and updated.  CANEX is honored to fund this important program annually as this funding not only recognizes and celebrates the important work each volunteer does in their local CAF community, but also provides an opportunity for local CFMWS divisions to work together in fostering a collaborative spirit and partnership under one mandate of Serving those who Serve.
CANEX understands this commitment and the time, talent, experience, effort and care that each volunteer has devoted to improving the lives and well-being of those who serve. By funding the CANEX GIVES BACK VOLUNTEER RECOGNITION PROGRAM, CANEX will continue to fulfill its mission to improve the lives of military families, a mission that we share as a division of Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services and as a part of our military community.
Do you know a volunteer who is making a difference?  Let us thank them.  Nominations are open for the CANEX Volunteer Profile of the Month. They could be thanked with a $250.00 CANEX Gift Card.
