Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who can join the 22 Wing Auto Club?
A: Individuals who are eligible to join the Auto Club will fall into one of three categories depending on their affiliation with the military or associated organizations: Regular, Ordinary or Associate.  Consult the Club’s constitution for more information on membership type qualifications.

Q: Can my son, daughter, spouse, or friend work in the shop?
A: Immediate family members as defined in the Club’s constitution may purchase a membership to work on their own vehicles.  Friends and family may assist a member in working on their own vehicle. For more information, please consult the Auto Club Constitution and bylaws.

Q: I need to use the shop during a time that it is not normally open, what can I do?
A: Only Auto Club Stewards have access to the club during off hours. If a Steward is in the club after hours, non-Stewards may use the club with the approval of the Steward with key access. Fees will be charged per regular hours. Note: if after hours, the Steward with key access has the right to refuse entry to the club for members who are not Stewards.

Q: What do I do with my old tires, battery or oil after working at the shop?
A: Used oil can be disposed of in our oil receptor per our price list. The club is not responsible for the disposal of old tires, batteries or used glycol.

Q: I want the club to buy a special tool that they don’t already have, what should I do?
A: If there is sufficient requirement, specialty tools may be purchased by the Auto Club Facility Manager. To request a tool, send an email to the Facility Manager or Auto Club President.

Q: I have a suggestion for an improvement to the club, what should I do?
A: Suggestions are always welcome and can be forwarded to any of the Club’s Executives via email or phone call.
