Canadian Forces family members and friends are able to send lettermail and parcels to deployed Canadian Forces members free of charge. You can drop off your packages at the locations below (and check out the map at the bottom of the page).
 
South Side Community Centre Monday – Friday / 08:15-18:00
The Family Centre Monday - Friday / 08:00-16:30
PMFRC North Side Monday - Friday / 08:00-16:30
Base Mailroom
Bldg S-111, Garrison Petawawa
Monday – Friday / 09:00–12:00
&13:00–15:30

Parcel Packaging

All packages must be securely packaged to avoid damage and leaking. Place breakable items or liquid substances within a strong outer container to avoid damaging other items. Canadian Forces Morale Mail is not insurable or traceable.

Parcel Dimensions, Size & Weight

Items that do not meet size and weight restrictions will not be accepted.
- Maximum weight of 20 kilograms
- Maximum length of 1 metre; AND
- The maximum length + girth* is 2 metres.

The definition of girth is “width + height + width + height”

Return Address

Place the return address and phone number in the top left corner of parcels.

Customs/Contents List

All parcels are subject to inspection by the host country’s customs officials. Therefore, write a detailed list of contents on the bottom left corner of all parcels.

 

New Mailing Instructions For OP Unifer

When mailing any parcels or letters, do NOT to put the member's rank or position. Below is an example of how to address your parcel or letter.
