In celebration of their 150th Anniversary, Willis College will be awarding $150,000 worth of scholarships over the next six years to Canadian military spouses.
Willis College launches scholarship program for military spouses
Scholarship recipients will have an opportunity to pursue training in business, technology one of their locations in Arnprior, Smiths Falls or Ottawa.
“At Willis College we believe that military spouses are the strength behind the uniform and our heroes on the home front, says Rima Aristocrat, President and CEO of Willis College “It is important that they have an opportunity to further their professional development and pursue their career dreams.”
The PMFRC is proud to be part of this initiative. "This scholarship will open doors for many spouses who have been unable to pursue their passions because of financial barriers," says Claudia Beswick, Executive Director of the PMFRC. "By applying for this scholarship, they have nothing to lose, and everything to gain."
