Build Your Employment Portfolio

Are you a military spouse that is being posted to a new community this summer? Have you been thinking about a new job, or a return to the workplace after an absence? A professional portfolio is a tool that you can use to show potential employers what you have done in past jobs - and what you can bring to their organization. A portfolio will also help you to organize all of your important career information so you are ready for your job search. At this interactive workshop, you will get expert advice about what to include in your portfolio. Interview and Salary Negotiation Strategies

Join us to get expert advice about how to create value with your job interview answers, and find out what questions you should be asking a potential employer. This workshop will also teach you strategies to use in negotiating your new salary in a low-key, no stress manner. Audrey Prenzel is an award winning Career Transition Specialist that has helped more than 10,000 clients to find their ideal job. She is also the author of “Military to Civvie Street”, a guide for CF members making the transition to the civilian workplace.
Occupational Health and Safety*

This online program was developed to give workers an understanding of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), and to explain the three basic rights that are afforded to each worker under the OHSA.

Personality Dimensions (PD) helps participants to better understand their own personalities, preferences and communication styles. Using a variety of hands-on activities, participants will learn about the various temperament styles, and how they can affect work style, preferred working environment, strengths, challenges, and career fit.
