This is a four week workshop that can be used as a beginner’s introduction to barbell and dumbbell lifts. Some exercises that may be focused on are deadlifts, overhead press, squats, kettlebell swings, bench press, hang cleans, snatch, overhead squats, clean and jerk and a few other exercises that may be found in our Army Fitness Centre Bootcamp classes. The ability of the participants will set the pace for the course and determine how many lifts are taught and learned. A background in athletics is helpful.
A current and complete Aerobics Registration and Fitness and Wellness Liability Waiver must be on file at the Recreation Complex.
