Stroller Fitness is coming Fridays in May!   This is a great way for parents to get outside for a fresh air workout with their babies! The 5 week session will target muscles needing some post natal focus as well as improving overall strength. Join Shannon Myers for a workout in a fun and safe environment for you and your baby. This is a great way to bond with your baby and to meet other parents! Babies and toddlers are welcome but those that are all ready crawling/walking should stay in the stroller or carrier for the duration of the workout for their safety.

Prerequisites
Current PAR-Q filled out and have your doctor’s clearance to begin exercising, typically after your six week postpartum appointment.

10:00-11:00 am | Fridays, 3 - 31 May 2019 | Meet at the Recreation Complex
(in case of inclement weather, training will be inside the Rec Plex gymnasium)

What to bring
Water bottle, yoga mat or towel, jogging/sturdy stroller.

This class is for parents who want to work out with their babies! The focus will be on combining cardio and strength/toning exercises. For post natal moms, extra focus will be given on muscles that need more attention after pregnancy. This is a great way to bond with your baby, to meet other parents and get outside! If babies/toddlers are mobile they should stay in the stroller/carrier for the duration of the workout for safety reasons.
