Exceptional Families Network

Do you have tips or tricks that have worked over the years for your special needs family? Come to our monthly Exceptional Families Network and share your experiences with other parents. This is your opportunity to connect, share information and bounce ideas off each other.  The group meets the first Thursday of each month; check our calendar to find out more about the next session.

Welcoming Space & Sensory Play

For children from newborn to age 14 with special needs. Bring a friend and your siblings, for an afternoon of fun in our gym. Each month, activity stations will be set-up with a new theme.  There will also be an open gym area and a portable sensory space to enjoy. Have some fun, be yourself, and make new friends.

Sensory Aquatic Program

A Sunday afternoon swim session exclusively for families with exceptional needs.  Enjoy some family fun in the water, in a smaller group setting.  Lifeguards will be on duty.

PSP and PMFRC are subsidizing the cost of this program for CAC members and all military families.  For non-military families, a drop-in fee will apply.  If you have questions about the Sensory Aquatic Program, send an email to Erika at erika.wallace@forces.gc.ca, or Amy at psip5@pmfrc.org.

Special Needs Family Forum

This annual panel discussion brings together partners from across the County.  Find out about what is available, discuss the issues that matter to your family, and tell us about the services that you want to see.
