Do you have a doctor's appointment or errands to run? Is your regular child care provider unavailable?
The PMFRC has two Casual Child Care locations which offer licensed child care at an affordable hourly fee for parents who need a few hours of casual child care now and then.
We provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment in which the children can be introduced to various learning experiences and develop socialization skills through peer play.
Our early learning environments employ registered Early Childhood Educators.
We care for children aged birth to six years of age.
Are you coming to Petawawa on a house hunting trip? Don't wait until you arrive in Petawawa; call in advance to reserve a spot at one of our locations! Please note, you will need to provide your child's immunization records when you drop them off. If your child is not immunized, you will need to provide a statement of medical or conscience or religious belief for exemption of immunization. You can get copies of these forms on the Ontario Ministry of Education website.

The Month of the Military Child
is set aside to celebrate children growing up in military families. It is an opportunity to recognize their strength and resiliency.
Throughout April, children participating in various PMFRC programs will be doing activities to recognize the Month of the Military Child.

The children at South Side Casual Child Care
celebrated the Month of the Military Child by creating their own dandelion crowns! Did you know that the dandelion is the official flower of the military child?
