Play Troop is the PMFRC’s daily play group. It enables parents, grandparents, caregivers and children (ages 0-6) to interact and share in the joys and challenges of raising children. Monday to Wednesday, the program is open to children ages 0 - 6. On Thursday and Friday, we welcome children ages 0 - 8. Wednesdays sessions are facilitated in French.

Our program focuses on the four foundations of learning from the Ministry of Education guideline “How Does Learning Happen” : belonging, well-being, engagement and expression.
The Play Troop program promotes:
- literacy, social, and creative experience through play,
- gross- and fine- motor skill activities, indoor and outdoor play in a Natural play environment,
- crafts, and
- interactive circle time.
March: We're bringing the outside in this month as we explore nature items indoors.
April 3 - 6: Welcome Spring and investigate why the snow is starting to melt.
April 9 - 13: Make your own Rain Drop Sun Catcher.
April 16 - 20: We'll be talking about hibernation, and which animals we will be welcoming back in Spring.
April 23 - 27: Make you rown bears out of peper bags and craft paper.
