Youth Sports 2018 Spring Programs
ottawa valley minor football league (ages 8-17)
The 2018 Ottawa Valley Minor Football League will be looking for players to participate in our grassroots house league setting. The program features Tackle Football. OVMF's goal for the players is to have fun while learning a new sport. Coaches will focus on fundamentals of playing football and general fitness components.
Evaluation and Instructional Camp
Sundays 4-6pm and Tuesdays/Thursdays 6-8pm | 8 April - 3 May | Dundonald Hall Field House
Football Spring Season
3 May - 22 June
Practices: Sundays 4-6pm and Tuesdays/Thursdays 6-8pm | Dundonald Hall Rugby Field
Games: 6 and 13 May at the Field on Paardeburg Dr. and 25 May, 1, 8, 15 and 22nd at the Petawawa Civic Centre

Lacrosse Clinics (Ages 8-13)
Youth Sports will be offering a grassroots lacrosse clinic providing youth with the opportunity to learn new skills through lacrosse like catching, cradling and passing. Our goal is to raise awareness and enthusiasm to the oldest sport in Canada because lacrosse is truly a sport that does it all for athlete development.

Coming off a full 2017 Spring session we will be offering baseball clinics again in the 2018 spring season. The baseball CO ED clinic is an instructional clinic where our instructors will focus on teaching young players of all abilities and the fundamental skills of baseball in a fun and structured atmosphere. Volleyball is a fun, non-contact sport that develops not only an individual's physical skill set, but also positively contributes to cognitive and psychological development, problem solving, teamwork and communication.
