Youth Sports 2019 Fall Programs


These six week programs are a great way to introduce your child to some sport specific game play and skill development. This is an ideal program for children who just want to try a sport on and find out if they enjoy it and would like to continue it. Sports that will be featured over the course of the school year include ultimate frisbee, football, squash, baseball, handball, badminton, floor hockey and much more.

Learn basic basketball fundamental movement patterns of the sport of basketball such as dribbling, ball handling, shooting and game play. With a focus on good sportsmanship and teamwork, this program is designed to maximize particiant play time and fun!

Cheerleading is a program that combines both gymnastics and dance. Athletes will tumble, dance, jump, cheer and stack! Participants will learn to cheer, perform routines, and learn the techniques of showmanship that will enhance great leadership and team spirit.

CanPowerSkate is an action-packed, high energy instructional power skating program geared to hockey and ringette skaters that focuses on balance, power, agility, speed and endurance. Skills, techniques and conditioning drills are taught in a progressive format that emphasizes how the skills apply to game situations.
