Youth Sports 2020 Winter Programs
JR. NBA BASKETBALL
Learn basic basketball fundamental movement patterns of the sport of basketball such as dribbling, ball handling, shooting and game play. With a focus on good sportsmanship and teamwork, this program is designed to maximize particiant play time and fun!

INTRO to SPORT (AGES 8-12)
This is an eight week program that will allow your child to try out and play a combination of field and court sports. Each class the instructor will provide participants with an introduction and basic skill building for a new sport. The sports that will be explored include but are not limited to basketball, volleyball, football, soccer, badminton, ultimate frisbee and floor hockey.

VOLLEYBALL (Ages 8-14)
The volleyball program is a great beginner program for children interested in the sport of volleyball. Learn the basics fundamental movement patterns of the sport such as bumping, spiking, setting, serving and game play in an eight week program. With a focus on good sportsmanship and teamwork, this program is designed to maximize participant play time and fun!

Here is a chance to take soccer to the next level of fun. These giant balls inflate to encompass the player, leaving only the legs free to run, bump and roll. Player have a shoulder harness, handles and the head is contained inside for safety when colliding and rolling. Players can easily see where they are going. The focus is on good sportsmanship, skill building and team work, this program promises tones of fun and activity.

CANPower Skate is an action-packed, high energy instructional power skating program geared to hockey and ringette skaters that focuses on balance, power, agility, speed and endurance. Skills, techniques and conditioning drills are taught in a progressive format that emphasizes how the skills apply to game situations. CANPower Skate provides an alternative to figure skating and is an excellent complement for those athletes playing on hockey or ringette teams. Its unique skill award program provides incentives and motivation for skaters to continue to achieve.

This session is a well rounded approach to general physical fitness with an emphasis on healthy lifestyle choices and active living. Through a combination of flexibilty, strength and endurance exercises, we provide a full body program designed to maximize your youth's physical performance no matter what their chosen sport is.
