Youth Training and Development
LEADership programs are geared specifically toward young adults who want the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and build experience for future job opportunities! Graduates of this program are invited to continue learning by volunteering in camp!
Youth Volunteer Orientation Program!        
Ages 14+

During this three day program youth will have the opportunity to see exactly what it takes to be a great recreation volunteer! Youth will learn the ins and outs of our recreation programs and will be able to volunteer with us to gain hands on experience in an engaging and upbeat environment.  This will also prepare them for the Leaders in Training Camp once they become 15 years of age!

Calling all future leaders!  LIT is a one week program designed specifically for those who want to gain experience in the field of recreation and begin the process of becoming a Recreation Leader for Children’s and Youth Programming and Sports.  The LIT program will offer valuable job-specific training that will give them an edge in applying for future employment with Community Recreation once they reach 16 years of age.
