Teen Weight Training

TEEN WEIGHT TRAINING

There are two courses available to certify teens to be able to use the weight and cardio rooms at Dundonald Hall; the Cardio Course, and the Teen Weight Training Course.

Cardio Course:

The Cardio Course is a prerequisite to the Teen Weight Training Course. The cardio portion can be done anytime at Dundonald Hall by a Gym Supervisor if time allots. Once the cardio portion is completed, written documentation must go to the Recreation Complex in order to update the CAC membership.

Teen Weight Training Course:

The Teen Weight Training Course is 3 hours of training, which may certify youth ages 13-17 years to utilize the Weight and Cardio rooms at Dundonald Hall.  Youth ages 13 and 14 must have a parent accompany them on the course.  Once the course is successfully completed, written documentation must go to the Recreation Complex in order to update the CAC Membership.

Contact the Recreation Complex at 613-687-2932, or RecPlex@forces.gc.ca in order to be added to an interest list.  Courses are generally offered on a monthly basis, taking place on Sunday evening.
