Concerns and Complaints

The PMFRC staff and Board of Directors are committed to working together to resolve any issues or concerns brought to our attention.  Any member of the community who considers that they have any cause for complaint may initiate a complaint and seek resolution.

Each complaint will be reviewed by the Executive Director; in a case where the Executive Director is the subject of the complaint, the complaint will be brought to the attention of the PMFRC Board Chair.

Your complaint / concern can be sent to the program supervisor, or directly to the Executive Director (Executive Director - PMFRC, 10-16 Regalbuto Ave, Petawawa ON, K8H 1L3).  Please mark the envelope Personal and Confidential.

The PMFRC's vision is to ensure that ethics is integral and visible in all we do.  Our Ethical Framework was designed to provide employees with direction in identifying and resolving ethical situations.  For more information, you can download a copy of the PMFRC Ethical Framework here.

In fulfilling our mission, the PMFRC always strives to provide its programs, services and activities in a way that respects the dignity and pride of people with disabilities. We are committed to giving people with disabilities the same opportunity to access our programs, services and activities, and allowing them to benefit from the same services, in the same place and in a similar way as other users of the organization.

We acknowledge there is a wide range of abilities and disabilities with regards to an individual’s mental, physical and/or emotional capacities and these can vary over time; we value any feedback on how expectations are being met, as well additional feedback on how we can improve our practices.
