May focuses on taking charge of your stress
We are kicking things into high gear by recognizing Mental Health Week from 3-9 May. This is a Canadian tradition where schools, communities, and workplaces come together to celebrate, protect, and promote mental health. This year’s theme is #GetReal about you how you feel. The pandemic has resulted in a high degree of uncertainty and disruption to our lives, and it is not unusual to feel a heightened degree of anxiety and worry about the potential impact on your mental health. The Health Promotion department has a full listing of webinars, support groups and contacts available to assist you with any issues that you, a loved one, friend or colleague may be experiencing, #AllLivesMatter.
