GSH Dress Code

  • Users shall wear clothing to the activity in which they are participating.  
  • Dress is to be in good taste.
  • Prohibited clothing includes shirtless, half shirts, torn and/or cut shirt, suggestive insignias or pictures, jeans, or bathing suit.  
  • Any garment inscribed or painted with offensive language or symbols is prohibited.
  • Short-shorts are not permitted.  
  • Revealing clothing that exposes midriff front, the buttocks, any portion of under garments designed to be worn under garments are not authorized while working out.  
  • See through garments are not permitted.
  • A t-shirt/muscle shirt/tank top must be worn at all times.
  • The wearing of sports bras/sports tops must be covered by a t-shirt/muscle shirt/tank top.
  • Combat clothing is not permitted.
  • Barefoot in public places is not permitted.
  • Running shoes worn on the street are not to be worn in the gym or the Weight/Cardio/Combat Fitness rooms.  
  • Sandals, combat boots, or open toed shoes are not permitted in the Weight/Cardio/Combat Fitness rooms.
  • Running shoes and weight boots are the only footwear permitted.
  • Users shall place excess clothing in appropriate dressing rooms or hallway lockers provided.
  • Excessive clothing/footwear is not to be left on the floor in the weight/cardio/combat fitness rooms.
  • No gym bags/back packs are permitted in weight/cardio/combat fitness rooms at any time.
